There is tremendous value in bringing together our clients as it provides a multitude of opportunities for everyone to elevate knowledge and expertise, and educate each other. In order to fit all this in a way that enables all of us to learn together effectively, the conference expands over three days. The conference provides informative keynote presentations, 160+ targeted breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, a poster session and social events. It is full of ideas, learning, networking, and, as you will see, time very well spent.
Technology continues to be an engine of change within education and industry, fueled by a host of new teaching and training models, free access to content, smarter analytics and other advances that contribute to the concept of Learning 3.0. With a robust agenda of the most heated topics in IT and elearning, insightful industry keynotes, and the opportunity to network with more than 1000 peers, FUSION promises to be the most illuminating gathering on learning technology this year. Beyond vision and trends, FUSION also offers hands-on sessions, best practice discussions and workshops – helping you to understand the future and implement the specific opportunities to move things forward today.
The reasons to attend are numerous, but here are just a few of the many reasons to attend FUSION 2013:
Whether you're a:
...you need to be at what past attendees have called the MUST attend conference of the year.
Potential clients have also benefited from attending FUSION. Please contact Jillian Skene at FUSION@Desire2Learn.com if you have any questions.
There are six learning tracks for conference attendees: Development, Program Management, Support and Training, Technical System Administration, Teaching and Learning, as well as a new track – Vision.
Join us for these 2 part in-depth sessions that explore exciting points of view on the important topics that are driving change and progress in education and learning. Engage with Desire2Learn subject matter experts, industry thought leaders, educators and corporate leaders at the forefront of implementing and experimenting with some of these visionary concepts. Vision sessions offer a comprehensive review of key topics, best practices and customer case studies as well as in-depth discussion periods.
FUSION would be incomplete without plenty of occasions to connect with colleagues, advance your networks, promote your ideas, improve your knowledge, skills and capacity for elevating your horizons. Included in the registration fee, as always, we have scheduled a number of activities to make FUSION 2013 a memorable event and to expand your network.
Be sure to visit our Exhibit Area throughout the conference. Our exhibitors are current Desire2Learn partners who bring further value to our products and services through providing additional content and technology offerings. Additionally, we've got demo pods, Desire2Learn service booths and Desire2Learn experts, the latest products and lots of fun goodies available; you won't want to miss out on all the action on the Exhibit Area. This is also where all break refreshments are available. Use meals and breaks between conference sessions to talk with other attendees, especially conference presenters that have presentations of interest to you.
Conference attire is business casual. Check out the Boston weather before joining, as it could be wonderfully warm or just a bit chilly.
